Plot Summary of The Brothers Lionheart
"Little Karl is dying and afraid of death and his big brother, Jonathan, tells him the story of a wonderful place called Nangijala where people go after they die. Ironically, Jonathan dies while rescuing Karl from a burning house and so goes first. Some months later, the brothers are reunited in Nangijala, but all is not well: the tyrant Thengil is trying to extend his power to the peaceful valley where the brothers live. Jonathan goes missing, and Karl sets off into enemy territory to try to find him, and discovers he is to be fed to the dragon Katla. Saving him will be difficult, but it's not impossible..."
