| Plot Summary of Amelia and the Outlaw |
" The book follows the story of Amelia, an only daughter of a wealthy judge, and Jesse, a young man whose upbringing caused him to spend 5 years in prison already, with another 4 to go. Judge Haper allows Jesse to work out the remainder of his time on the ranch, giving him certain strict guidelines - the main one being 'Stay away from Amelia'. Despite the lack of interest on the part of Jesse, Amelia becomes captivated by the brooding young man. Two main questions are developed throughout the book - Will Jesse ever escape his unpleasant past? Will Amelia be able to except their love for what it really is?"
