Plot Summary of In His Bright Light
"Danielle Steel describes in detail her son's struggle with manic depressive disorder, the disease that in the end took his life. From a young age Mrs Steel could see that there was something wrong with her son but for the longest time she got no diagnosis. When she finally got people to listen to her and believe what she was saying her son had gone downhill. In the end he takes his own life at the age of nineteen. This book details the painful struggle she and her family went through in the process of getting Nicky the help he needed."
