Plot Summary of Finding Laura
"After buying an antique mirror at the Kilbourne estate sale; Laura Sutherland suddenly becomes the prime suspect in the murder of Peter Kilbourne. Trying to find some answers to the heritage of the mirror, as well as clear her own name, Laura goes to speak to Amelia Kilbourne, the matriarch of the family. Things become murky and twisted when she is commisioned to paint her portrait and meets Daniel Kilbourne. In a hot and dusty attic they have their first romantic encounter. It's not long before she moves into the mansion so that Amelia could be more accessable while finishing the portrait. It is after moving in that she fully encounters the family's living maze, which looks remarkably like the back of the antique mirror. After Anne Kilbourne is found twisted and dead on the path to the maze, Amelia becomes the prime suspect. "
