| Plot Summary of Star Trek Movie Memories |
"William Shatner, forever linked with the role of "Star Trek's" James T. Kirk, reveals a candid and revealing look at the motion picture industry as he details the goings on of the seven theatrical films adapted from Gene Roddenberry's original television creation. Shatner opens the book by with a personal take on the off-and-on discussions of bringing the series back, ultimately being reborn in the first film, "Star Trek: The Motion Picture". The actor takes the reader through personal reflections of that film, along with the subsequent sequels "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan", "Star Trek III: The Search for Spock", "Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home", "Star Trek V: The Final Frontier", and "Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country". Also included in his trip down memory lane is "Star Trek: Generation", a film that marked the film debut of the cast from "Star Trek: The Next Generation" and, basically passed the torch from the old to the new. Shatner also responds to the many comments made about his temperament and relationships with his co-stars on the films as well as the television series."
