"Lady Madeline Matthews's parents expected her to marry an aging lord. However that is the last thing she wants, and what she wants is her freedom. In order to do that, she will need to make herself unsuitable for marriage. She chooses Logan Scott as the person to help her accompany her goal.
Logan Scott is a successful actor who owns the Capital Theatre. He closes up his heart due to a past betrayal, and does not plan to ever fall in love again, until she appears. She has becomes the thing he most wanted.
