| Plot Summary of Term Limits |
"After a leak in military intelligence causing soldiers to lose their lives, three politicians are assassinated all in one night. Former military commandos demand that the killing will not stop until the power is restored to the people. Not even the president is safe. Soon new congressman O'Roarke, a former Marine, realizes that he might know the identity of the assassins. The book introduces Mitch Rapp, an assassin for the CIA who investigates the murders. Rapp becomes the recurring character in all other Vince Flynn books to date."

"Term Limits is a thriller about Skip McMahon, FBI agent, and Michael O'Rourke, first term congressman, linking up to solve the murders of several powerful and nefarious US politicians. A seemingly rogue band of US patriots threatens to take down the US government one politician at a time unless the govt stops "business as usual", pork-barrel politics. High tech military and government jargon turns up the volume on realism for the pro-American hunters and the hunted on both sides of the sniper's rifle. McMahon, a no-nonsense FBI agent uses his skills, connections with the military and gut checking instinct to link the murders together. One term Congressman Michael O'Rourke is torn between serving the country he loves and serving the hunters who seek to eliminate the greasy politicians who are burying the country under a mountain of debt.
