Plot Summary of Brooke

"Athletically-gifted Brooke has grown up in an orphanage. She is adopted by Peter, a lawyer, and Pamela, a former model. Brooke becomes the star of the school softball team, but Pamela wants her to become a beauty queen. Brooke at first tries to please her new mother, then begins to rebel against Pamela's sky-high expectations.
