| Plot Summary of The Maverick Princess |
"Kristina is born to King Gustav and Queen Marta of the Kingdom of Vidaria. Her father, King Gustav, has declared that she is to be raised as a boy, and places this directive in his last will and testament.
Before he can enact his plan, however, he leaves for war and is killed, leaving his young daughter in the care of a group of regents. She's taught everything that was expected of a young prince -- from languages and statecraft to horsemanship and weaponry, as willed in her father's last testament. Kristina, however, doesn't behave as a young princess is expected to."
