| Plot Summary of It Happened to Nancy |
"This is the diary of a teenage girl with AIDS. Nancy is 14 years old when she begins to date a college boy, Collin. She thinks she has finally found love. However, when Collin comes to her house to have dinner when her mother is not home, he rapes her. She doesn't tell anyone what happened, and her health slowly begins to deteriorate. Eventually her mother takes her to the hospital and she is diagnosed with the HIV virus. She comes clean to them about how she was raped and they realize that Collin had been infected with the virus. Nancy's doctors and parents search for him, but with no success. Eventually the virus develops into AIDS as this teenage girl struggles for her life"
