"Christopher DeCapria is tired of the war between the two most powerful families in the new world. He is also secretely in love with the daughter of his hated enemy, and will stop at nothing to possess her. Devising a plan he had Laura kidnapped, and forces her into bonding with him. Laura could not believe her eyes when she is thrust before him. Trembling with fear, she holds her head high as she waites for him to state the ammount of her ransom. He has other plans. He damands her love, something that she vows never to give him."
