| Plot Summary of Jade Green |
"Fifteen-year-old Judith Sparrow has been orphaned by her mother and father, leaving her with no choice but to move into her Uncle Geoffrey's house in a small town in South Carolina. However, she can only live there if she doesn't bring anything green into the house. Still, she refuses to get rid of the picture of her mother in the green picture frame. She feels it is the only comfort, as her mother has died in a madhouse.
That's when bizarre things started happening...
At first, it starts out with noises in her closet, but it escalates into something further - a bodyless, mischievious hand and a ghost that takes over the photograph of her mother. She finds out that a girl named Jade Green had killed herself in that house by cutting off her own hand. Supposedly, she'd been taken there to live as well and her favorite color was green, hence the reason it is not allowed into the house.
Now, either Judith must decide what's really going on or she must dismiss it as herself going as crazy as her mother..."
