Plot Summary of English Passengers
"This narrative set in the 19th century concerns the events of a sea voyage to the isle of Tasmania undertaken by a group of Englishmen in their search for the Garden of Eden. Each chapter is a journal, letter or simply musings of one or another of those involved in the story revealing their own view of what is taking place around them. Reverend Wilson is the instigator of the trip and Quillian Kewly, the ship's captain, is one of the many colorful characters. "
