Plot Summary of Crossfire Trail
"As the old cattleman lay dying, he reminded Rafe of his promise; Rafe must find the cattleman's wife and daughter and protect them. So Rafe sets out and his quest and finds the daughter, Ann Rodney, playing right into the hands of those who killed her father. Rafe must win her trust while exposing the respected Bruce Barkow for what he was, a thief and murderer. But Bruce had cold blooded killers and the law on his side. Rafe was in for a fight - not only for his life but that of Ann Rodney as well."
