Plot Summary of The Dream
"Jessica Crosslyn has owned her home in her family for years, so it pained her deeply when she no longer had the necessary funds to keep Crosslyn Rise maintained the way that it should be. With the help of her friend and bank advisor, she decides to take on investors and use the house as a focal point to develop the land around it.

Her friend advises her to get in touch with the best architect around, Carter Malloy. Carters parents used to work on the Rise and Carter always teased Jessica when they were growing up. She agreed to meet him for the sake of the house, and she came to find out that he has grown up very much since she last saw him years ago. With his help, and also with some of his money (he decides to invest in the Rise also) they gain investors and develop the land. Carter, during the development, told Jessica he was sorry for the way he treated her as kids and he confessed his love for her. Jessica is not sure how to take this since she has only been with one other man and she is torn between contemplating whether or not Carter is still the teenage pain in the neck who can never change, or if he is sincere enough for her to return the feelings."
