Plot Summary of Tina Turner: Break Every Rule
"   Most people know or are aware of Tina Turner's triumphant 1984 comeback and her life with Ike before that.

Break Every Rule covers this, but offers an unusual perspective on Ike; he's not automatically portrayed as an obvious villian and HIS musical accomplishments are duly noted.

Rule also goes beyond 1985, up to and through 2003. Tina's further and recent hit records(She's still a major seller in Europe and elsewhere and was always, and still is, a huge star there), tours, and off-stage life, including a chapter on Edwin Bach, her long-time boyfriend, are examined.

There's extensive discographies of albums and singles (with Ike and solo), movie roles, and other tidbits.

The only fault here is not enough pictures; but overall, an
enjoyable read."
