Plot Summary of The Kagonesti
"The Kagonesti tells the story of the creation of the society of wild elves. Kagnos breaks away from "house elves" and leads his people to live in the wild. The novel tells of his coming of age as a leader and the story of future leaders of his tribe. Each of the new leaders comes of ages and fights dragons and wizards to continue the thriving of their race. They are nearly exterminated at the end of the novel but they survive to rebuild their society again. A great history fantasy novel of a fantasy race of wild outcasts. "
Daniela Lo Presti, Resident Scholar

"The elves of Kyrnn are the most long-lived creatures inhabiting their world. This race is divided into two kinds, the house elves who live in self-constructed cities, and the wild elves who prefer to live in the forests. This book tells us in 3 parts about the history of the Kagonesti, the tribe of wild elves named after the first leader, Kagonos, who had been summoned by a silver dragon and given a ram's horn as a symbolic means of his leadership. The second and third part tell of their first positive interaction with humans and the days leading up to the time where their clan is facing destruction."
