| Plot Summary of The Gray Stopgap |
"A sentient "bio-chemical synthetic intelligent" experiment called FORBS goes awry by killing its creators and attempting to commandeer the body of agent Karns Gray while altering his DNA. In saving Karns Gray, FORBS is slated for storage in the orbital space station that NASA brought down in the late 70s.
More than 20 years later, worldwide satellite failures, murdered CIA/FBI/Navy SEAL operatives, a kidnapped Agency Director and a cargo of black market Russian weapons and drugs are just a few ingredients of a larger effort to uncover the secret of FORBS and Karns Gray--the secret of immortality. A secret that if unlocked opens the door to the unrestrained power of FORBS.
Plagued by hellish wartime memories and betrayal at the hands of his fiancée, Gray fights his own inner demons while searching for the mastermind behind deceptions within deceptions. "
