Dismissing the skeptics, disinterested sponsors, and a woefully inadequate bank account, Scott Zamek resolved to try. Some 20,000 miles and millions of pedal revolutions later, Zamek had encountered Bengal tigers, angry mobs, prison and sandstorms.
