| Plot Summary of The Shadow Riders |
"Returning home from the Civil War, the Traven brothers discover that their home has been ransacked. A ruthless band of Confederate guerrillas, led by holdout Colonel Ashford, are heading for Mexico where they plan to regroup in order to lead a new Confederate resurgence through the South. On their way, the rebels are looting and kidnapping women to sell for cold hard cash and among the captives are the Travens' sister and neighbor! The Travens are in hot pursuit but greatly outnumbered. It will take luck and a whole lot of skill to stop Ashford's band of renegades."
