| Plot Summary of The Empty Land |
"Matt Coburn was a decent man and good with a gun. He had cleaned up wild boom towns before but he wanted to finish that chapter of his life. However, when he rode through Confusion he felt himself being drawn into the drama unfolding there. There were good men in that town and a few beautiful women, too. Matt couldn't just turn his back on them and watch Big Thompson and the others destroy everything with foolish violence. Could he fight the odds and bring the law to Confusion or was this end of the trail for Matt Coburn?"
