Plot Summary of Martinis & Mayhem
"Jessica Fletcher, famed mystery writer from Cabot Cove, Maine, travels to San Francisco to promote her latest book. She is anticipates having a wonderful time there, as she is meeting up with her long-time romantic interest, George Sutherland, Scotland Yard Inspector. However, once again, Jessica takes on the task of solving another mystery. While giving a lecture at a woman's prison, an inmate slips a diary into Jessica's handbag. The diary explains how the woman ended up imprisoned for murdering her husband – in spite of the fact that she is innocent. Jessica puts her own life in danger as she investigates the circumstances of this wrongful conviction and she nearly gets thrown off the Golden Gate Bridge."
