| Plot Summary of The Real Bettie Page |
"Bettie Page's life is revealed in an intense biography about the pin up girl's life. As a silent movie/burlesque model Bettie was a sexual queen who was always grasping at a normal married life. She yearned for fame but longed even more for a steady home life that was not possible. Her dissent into maddness and religous obsession led her to renounce her earlier life but late in life she made peace with herself and allows herself to only be interviewed without photographs so that she will be always remembered as a beautiful woman."
Daniela Lo Presti, Resident Scholar
