And all that remains is a handsome unsettling stranger who claims to be her husband, whispered rumors about a dead child whom she cannot recall; and a terrifying premonition that something horrible is about to occur. "On her way to buy milk and eggs, a woman suddenly forgets who she is. The only clues to her identity are a blood-soaked blue dress and the ten thousand dollars in her coat pockets. She hides the evidence before going to the police, and subsequently a hospital where she learns she is suffering from hysterical amnesia.
Enter the perfect, loving, gentle husband to take her home and take care of her. Something isn't right? Why would a woman with such a perfect life need so badly to get away from it that she would forget even her own daughter? And where is her daughter anyway? And why is she always so tired?
