Plot Summary of 68 A.D.
"This is a story about the interwoven lives of Valarian, Emperor Galba's son, his friend, General Lucius Silva, and their misadventures to discover the instigator of a rebellion. The novel takes place during the historical period of 68-69 AD when civil strife hit the Roman Empire and a series of four men all contested for the position of Emperor. This story takes Valarian and Lucius, into the depths of treachery and intrigue while they attempt to quell a rebellion that starts with the murder of Galba and puts Valarian on the throne."
