| Plot Summary of Journey to the Tenth Planet |
"A criminal who tried to destroy Earth by launching an asteroid at it escaped to an undiscovered planet, and three explorers were sent to track him down and bring him back to Earth. After getting a ship and crew from the Moon they made the long trip to this dark, forbidding undiscovered planet, only to have most of the crew become captives of evil and highly advanced aliens, half-mollusk and half-machine. The criminal had gone to these aliens for help conquering Earth but instead was destroyed, for these aliens were bent on killing all life forms. The explorers had to find a way to rescue their crewmates and escape back to Earth."
