Late in the nineteenth century while searching for the fabled Zoran in Arabia, Sir Peregrine deLisle dies. Before his death Sir Peregrine hid ancient bracelets in a secret chamber in his English home as he did not trust their neighbor, Dzmura. However, the sly Dzmura gained entrance to Peregrine's home by paying attention to one of the daughters, Allegra.
Called a grave robber because of his uncanny ability to sense lost treasures buried under tons of sand, Ryder Culhane was with Peregrine when he died. He visits Alexandra to inquire about the bracelets, but she is aloof, cold, and nasty as only an English woman can be when she is attracted to a forbidden male. Dzmura works indirectly as he sends Allegra to steal them, which she does.
The thieves flee for Persia. Ryder plans to follow them. Alexandra needs to go after her sibling so she offers the adventurer anything he desires if he will take her with him. As they travel through Europe and eventually Persia, Alexandra and Ryder have many adventures including dynamic ones in makeshift boudoirs as they fall in love.
Known for her erotic romances, Thea Devine provides her fans with a delightful historical tale that has her usual degree of sex to the third X, but inside of an exciting action tale. Alexandra is a courageous soul who will do anything to see her younger sister safe. Though some of locales and timing for the boudoir adventures seem difficult in terms of getting it up (no headaches stop this duo as Ryder can do it in a sandstorm) readers will appreciate Ms. Devine's Persian adventure.

"Alexandra's sister, Allegra has been kidnapped and the bracelets her father had secreted away before he died have been stolen by Dzmura. Alexandra refuses to let Ryder Culhane, the man who has haunted her thoughts for the last 2 years, to search for them on his own and offers herself as his prize for taking her along.
Ryder feels she will only hold him back and time is of the essence. With his 6th sense he can feel the danger around them. Will he find her sister and the bracelets? Will Alexandra be safe? Or is he the one in danger... from the woman who has offered herself to him?
They embark on a journey together and find love. They endure through train rides, desert paths, and over mountains while all the while someone is watching them and trying to kill them. They struggle with their feelings for each other; Alexandra's fear and inexperience, and the trust the have for each other.
Then, when they are almost to their destination, Alexandra is kidnapped by Dzmura's men and taken to him to become a part of his harem. Ryder is left to bring her back to him for she is his and will belong to no one else."
