| Plot Summary of The Door To December |
"Psychiatrist Laura McCaffrey has been searching for her kidnapped daughter for six years. The shock and horror at learning she had only been miles from her home all this time could not prepare her for her daughter's state of mind. She had been cruelly tortured by her own father. Horrific, unexplainable murders began after Melanie's rescue and it seems she is the root of it all. Laura learns the mind numbing persecution her daughter experienced as well as the terrible power Melanie seems to possess. "
