"Nell has escaped the madness of her rich, handsome, evil husband. After escaping his physical torture, verbal assaults, and the constant fear of stepping out of line she is ready to begin her new life.
Upon landing on the Three Sisters, her new life begins with the help of circumstance (the cafe cook ran to New York) and Mia Devlin. Mia shows Nell her gift of magic, and shows her part in lifting a 300 year old curse.
It would have been much easier for Nell if the wonderful Sheriff Todd had not been on the scene. She has fallen in love with him, and he's crazy about her. However, her past is about to catch up to her, risking her new friends and lover. "
