| Plot Summary of The Year My Life Went Down the Loo |
"Emily is transplanted from very hip Seattle to a gotty, run down mansion in England that even has a ghost. For a year she must endure this dreary existence. In a running diatribe, she covers all the things that irk her - a ghost who toss her underwear around the room; her father's pop quizzes on medieval history; and worst of all NO MALLS!! However, there are pluses to this adventure. Two are: Aidan, the Dean's son who is totally hunkalicious!! and she is in the same country with actor Oded Fehr and can stalk him!
This book, aimed at teens, is a wildly hilarious venture of culture clashes and teens vs parents."
