|Plot Summary of Under the Melting Pot|
|"My wife and I were destined to be together, that is my belief. We started
a relationship and together we began our progression to adulthood, which
was interrupted by her parents desire to separate us because I am Black and
she is Latino. "Under the Melting Pot" is a poetic journal describing our
journey through racism to the family that we have created and love today.
