| Plot Summary of One Eye in the Darkness |

"Cassie Richardson is an author, used to dealing with death and tragedy within the pages of her books. But when her son David is kidnapped, taken from their home in the middle of the night - Cassie's fears leap from her pages, into real life. David's father Michael, a detective on the NYPD force for over ten years, races to save their son, but is run off the road by an oncoming car, and is presumed dead.
Jordan Callaghan comes to Cassie's rescue. Michael's partner and best friend, Jordan helps Cassie retrieve her son - only to discover in the course of his investigation that Cassie was the true target all along.
As they dig deep into the secrets of Michael's past, as well as the future of their own relationship - Cassie and Jordan fight the odds to be together, as they race against time to find the killer - before the killer finds them.
