Plot Summary of Trollslayer
"In this bold and bloody collection of short stories, the young poet Felix accompanies Gotrek, a dwarven warrior, on his bloody quest to seek death in the most grand way possible. Because of some horrible, unnamed crime committed against himself and his people, Gotrek is determined to redeem himself by dying in battle. Felix, whose life he had saved, swore to accompany him and immortalize him in an epic poem documenting his doom. Over the short stories in the book, we will join the two heroes as they hack, stab and chop their way through frenzied cults, cruel noblemen, and fantastic monsters in the dark, gothic world of Warhammer, which seems to be loosely based on medieval Germany. The two rescue a young man from a fanatical cult on the darkest night of the year, go on a search for missing children and find one of Felix's old friends is behind them, come to the aid of an orphaned woman whose village was destroyed by a dark army, and come to fight the forces of chaos."
