"Georgiana Hartley, recently returned from Italy after her father's death, found herself in the custody of a very eager cousin. Determined to run away from his constant advances, what is a lady to do? She fled to into the estate of Dominic Ridgely. After hearing out her pleas for help, what is a gentleman to do but to help the damsel in distress by introducing her to his sister, who was only so delighted to establish Georgie in society. As his sister works her magic, and Georgie becomes a reigning belle, Dominic must decide whether or not to give up his rakish reputation and stomach the idea of a marriage proposal."
