"Isobel Favor has the perfect life as a self help guru until her business manager steals her money, she owes the IRS, and her fiance leaves her, telling her she is a control freak. She goes to Italy and picks up a guy in a bar thinking he is a gigalo. She doesn't realize he is a famous actor who plays the bad guy in action movies. It is a disaster. They meet up again by accident later when she unknowingly rents a villa on his estate. She is there to heal from her emotional wounds and discover what she will do with her life. They do start an affair. They must also discover why the townspeople keep searching the grounds of her villa and want her out. "
