Plot Summary of Miss Julia Takes Over
"Quirky, tough, outspoken, and utterly delightful Julia Springer is the kind of lady you would love as your friend. But you sure would not want her as your enemy. So when the mom of young Lloyd Jr., the child fathered by Miss Julia's late husband disappears, Julia can't help but get involved.

The little boy's mother, Hazel Marie, has a less then perfect background. So she may have just slipped back into the life she came from. Indeed, Miss Julia's preliminary investigation turns up some evidence that Hazel Marie may have been involved in a crime. This means that Little Lloyd is now in some danger. Not content to allow others to do the dirty work, Julia sets off on a wild chase across the great state of North Carolina, unleashing a story at once touching and hilarious."
