| Plot Summary of Seven Sisters |
"Benni Harper's step son is engaged to marry the granddaughter of a prominent rancher; the young woman also happens to be the newest and most brilliant addition to Gabriel Ortiz's, Benni's husband, police force. When they are invited out to the ranch to meet the in-laws, the rancher's dissolute son-in-law is murdered, and Benni investigates. Story is complicated by arrival of Ortiz's beautiful ex-wife and an investigator determined to get Benni's help on the case. "
