Plot Summary of Four to Score
"In the fourth book in the series, Stephanie Plum goes after Maxine Nowicki, a waitress out to get revenge against her nasty boyfriend. Plot is complicated by extremely sexy housemate, Joe Morelli, who Stephanie moves in with after her apartment is firebombed; Joe's and Stephanie's families; Lula and her stun gun; Joyce Barnhardt; and Sally the cryptographic cross-dresser."
Christine G., Resident Scholar

"Stephanie Plum, bounty hunter, is back. She has been assigned to track down Maxine Nowicki, who failed to appear for her court date. Rival Joyce Bernhardt is determined to find Maxine before Stephanie does. But she can't be found. Meanwhile, Stephanie is struggling with her relationship to city cop Joe Morelli and trying to find out who's trying to kill her."
BethG, Resident Scholar

"Stephanie Plum, Trenton New Jersey's favorite pistol-packing, condom-carrying bounty hunter is back again. This time she is on the trail of a revenge-seeking waitress who's skipped bail. With the help of 73-year old Grandma Mazur, ex-hooker Lula, a tranvestite musician named Sally Sweet, and the all-too hospitable, all-too-sexy Joe Morelli, Stephanie might just catch her woman. Then again, with more mishaps than there are exits on the Jersey Turnpike-including murders, firebombs, and Stephanie's arch rival bounty hunter chasing after the same fugitive-Stephanie better watch her back big-time if she expects to crack this case."
