"“The Other Mary” is written as a fictional portrayal of a real-life story. The story is the inspirational experience of Kelly Shaw in his modern struggles and the ancient Jewish life of Professor Mary Grace. The book is written in a fictional format that leads the reader to believe it was an actual event rather than fiction. Kelly is introduced to Mary Grace during his college experience. Everything about Professor Mary Grace intrigues and inspires him. During their budding friendship, Kelly begins to discover that Mary Grace has written eight keys to serenity. Mary has penned these keys to serenity from her own experiences and he desperately wants the privilege of reading the secrets to serenity in life. As he gets to know Mary he begins to realize that maybe she is a messenger sent to deliver saving values for mankind. A fortuitous event allows him to read the keys to serenity. "
