| Plot Summary of The Novel |
"Lukas Yoder struggles to become the novelist he envisions himself to be. He's superstitious and down to earth. After four misses, his fifth novel is a hit. He and his editor have faith in each other. When a corporate takeover transpires, Yoder jumps ship with his editor. The editor struggles to get Yoder's last novel published, and that of her husband. A critic enters the scene who has his own agenda, and challenges the works of Lukas Yoder. A tragedy strikes his community, and instead of being his last novel...he pursues the truth--and another novel is now in progress. A story rich in life, death, love, and truth. A reader helps Yoder solve the mystery that is destroying their community."
