Right from the start with a murder and conspiracy involving cattle, oil and drugs, Allie finds herself in the thick of things, and it nearly costs her her life. The characters are engaging, with an assortment of those we like and those we love to hate. The problem is, we don't really know who the good guys are until the end. "
