"This is the third installment of a series about a vampire cop named Garreth Mikaelian. When the book begins, Garreth has been living in a town in Kansas for the past 15 years and knows he has to leave soon before his fellow cops start suspecting him. All of a sudden, Garreth's life is shattered by trio of killers when they kill his grilfriend, who's his fellow cop. Garreth doesn't know if the leader of this trio is a vampire or just playing at being one, but the trio has drunk his blood so he must stop them before his cop companions kill them. "
