|Plot Summary of Sessions|
|"Melissa Stewart has run from her life since it began. Now faced with a divorce and financial disaster, she is careless one last time. Melissa awakens in a desolate darkness, trapped inside her car. She can recall little of the accident that brought her here except for the angry voice of her ex-husband screaming at her on her cell phone. Outside the snow and cold threaten her life. Outside, a rescuer awaits her. Jeremiah Preacher, a loner with uncanny ties to the woman inside the car, is a man with secrets, dark tales of death, and insanity. In the hours ahead, Melissa confronts her life in a series of dreams that take her back to an abusive childhood, then marriage, and to the family secrets that led her here. Despite the heroics of Sheriff John Jacobs, Melissa is trapped in a nightmare.
