Plot Summary of Snare of Serpents
"Davina Glentyre has to deal with her father's marriage to her governess. Shortly after, she must deal with his murder and the evidence that pointed to her as the murderer. With the help of her new stepmother, she receives the verdict of "Not Proven" at her trial. Then she must deal with the stares and whispered accusations sent in her direction. Davina decides to go to Africa with some friends to try to escape her past. The love of her life, Ninian Grainger, becomes determined to prove her innocence. With the help of her friends and loved ones, she begins to learn how to cope with the tragic circumstances that brought her to Africa."
