| Plot Summary of Rensime |
|---|
"Simes must take energy from Gens to survive. A rensime can only safely take energy from a channel, a special sime who can take energy from a Gen and transfer it to another sime. If they take energy from a frightened Gen, the Gen dies, and the sime becomes physically addicted to the kill. A Gen organization seeking to prove all simes are bad forces Laneff Farris, a young medical scientist who is a rensime, into killing. She must go on the run seeking a medical answer to the question of how an older sime can avoid the kill and survive."
