| Plot Summary of Echoes of Honor - Honor Harrington 8 |
"This is part of the Honor Harrington series although this is the only one I have read. The main character Honor is thought dead, but actually captured by her enemies and imprisoned on a prison planet. She and others plan their escape. This book doesn't flow very well but the story was interesting. There is a lot of unnecessary detail which makes the book a harder read than it should be. There were a couple of times I was just not going to finish this book, but I got through it. "

"Honor Harrington, with her key shipmates, are captured by the People's Navy, and escape as they are about to be imprisoned on a hostile plant. She is able to free one camp and from there, takes over the control of the prison. With her small core of loyal troops, they free their allies and escape after a major subversive space battle over the very worst of the People's Navy."
