"Abandoned on a doorstep as a baby, Jesse has never known love. So it was no surprise when he became an outlaw at age 12 and landed in jail at age 14. Now after five years in prison he's free to serve the remainder of his sentence working on a judge's ranch. Amelia Harper is nearly 17 and the judge's daughter. She's grown up living a privilaged life, and has been overprotected, especially since her mother's death five years ago. Amelia and Jesse have feelings for each other, but will his past prevent a relationship?"
