| Plot Summary of Lady Knight - Protector of the Small 4 |

"Keladry is only the second "Lady Knight" in 100 years, but she's done it all through hard-work, without magical abitlities like Lady Alanna's (character from an earlier series). She's been sent to the northern border of Tortall to command a newly-built refugee camp, even though she's only 18! She fights to win the respect of those in her command while keeping them safe from the invading forces of the north. While she is reporting in to headquarters, a group of children and adults are kidnapped from the camp. She goes after them, knowing that the children will be killed if she doesn't find them in time."
