| Plot Summary of The Butcher of Beverly Hills |
"Who's killing the rich widows of Beverly Hills?
Fledgling investigators and identical twins Kerry and Terry McAfee reluctantly take on the case of Beverly Hills socialite Lenore Richling, and soon the bodies of the rich and cosmetically-altered begin piling up.
The McAfees discover a prescription drug ring operating out of a posh hotel that serves as a way-station for face-lift patients, and soon the girls are caught up in a web of extortion and murder involving a plastic surgeon with the survival rate of Dr. Jack Kervorkian, a ruthless band of Canasta-playing widows, an escaped Russian mobster, a Pug named muffy and a Chihuahua named Paquito, a silver-haired and -tongued BH attorney, and a purloined painting by abstract artist Francis Bacon.
Between pratfalls, screw-ups and some good detective work, the intrepid McAFee twins manage to solve the case, making the streets safe again in America's most glamorous city."
