Plot Summary of Emerald Desire
"EMERALD DESIRE is a fast-paced historical romance. It is the love story of Dera Brennan, a wild Irish beauty, who falls in love with an Irish rebel, Quint Flannery. Sheis also desired by Avery Fairfax, an English aristocrat who has usurped the Flannery estate as his own. More than anything in life, Quint wants to reclaim his home, more than anything else Dera wants him to marry her. When she finds him with another woman, Dera impetuously agrees to marry Lord Fairfax to help her family prosper. Quint is filled with jealousy and when Lord Fairfax is found murdered, he is the most likely suspect and is hunted by British authorities and forced to flee the country. Will Dera ever see Quint again? Will they ever find the happiness that eludes them? The story sweeps the reader from the lush green beauty of magical Ireland to romantic New Orleans during the Spanish occupation. A riveting, sensual read and the first book in the EMERALD TRILOGY (EMERALD DESIRE, EMERALD ENCHANTMENT AND EMERALD ECSTASY) concerning the Flannery men and the women who love them. "
